Beauty*2

Ladytron is one of my favorite bands and arguably one of the best in the world. Beauty*2 is a song I used to play on repeat a few years ago. I recently got hooked on it again, and I wanted to share with you guys. The song can be found on their Witching Hour album from 2005. If you haven't heard it, I'm sure you'll like it after hearing it. Enjoy!

The Women of Rio

Photographs of women can be seen covering the walls of many homes in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. A photographer, of French origin, who only identifies himself as JR has been exhibiting portraits of women who fell victim to local police. This is exhibit is part of his project entitled "Women are Heroes".

Tijuana, B.C. Mexico

Tijuana is one of the most visited cities around the world by tourists. It has the busiest border in the world and a lot of History. Tijuana's nightlife is one of a kind, and it is mostly enjoyed by neighboring visitors from southern California. This city used to be one of the most famous tourist attractions amongst Hollywood stars at one point in the 1950-1970's. Still, Tijuana holds on to its luxurious lifestyle of museums, beaches, hotels, casinos, and nightclubs.

Summer Entry

Y porque ahora todo es diferente, todo un poco mas dificil de comprender. Aquellos errores que cometi fueron instantes de rebeldia. Los cuales no se si arrepentirme los correjeria. Y hoy que me siento tan solo, no se por donde arrancar. Si el alejarme de mi pasado fuera una solucion, no estaria aquí solitario con mis palabras en la garganta, y con el tormento presente. Cada mañana al despertar veo mi vida pasar, y me pregunto el por que no hize nada cuando pude tenerlo todo. Ya lo pasado es pasado, y aunque intento mobilizarme hacia el futuro, no encuentro razon alguna para esa misma motivacion. Solo espero encontrarme con aquel amor que una vez deje. Espero reestablecer mi imagen con las nuevas virtudes que dia tras dia intento integrar. El extrañar algo seria debil, solo la esperanza tiene valor en el pensamiento.
