Is Madonna trying to send us a message?

With all the headlines surrounding her recent "collapse" at the Sofia, Bulgaria concert of her successful Sticky & Sweet tour, it is safe to wonder if Madonna is trying to send us a message via her own daughter, Lourdes Leon.

Recently, she has been sporting her daughter around; from her newest video Celebration and her most recent concert in Tel Aviv, Israel, both as a back-up dancer. Now, Lourdes is portraying her mother, circa VMA's 1984 Like a Virgin, in what is known to be her 2nd version of the latest video, Celebration.

Could it be that Madonna, now 51, is trying to somehow pass the torch to her daughter? Only time will tell, after all she will be 13 years old later this year.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was pronounced dead today, June 25th, at around 2:25pm pacific time. The King of Pop had suffered a cardiac arrest earlier in his home and staff members called 911 immediately. Paramedics found him not breathing and tried to resuscitate him while on the way to the UCLA Medical Center. Jackson had fallen into a coma shortly after arriving at the hospital, and was declared dead shortly after. Thousands of fans gathered around the world to pay tribute to their idol, Michael Jackson.

UPDATE: I will make no further comment on his death or personal life. Let the man rest.

We as Americans look at ourselves as a higher nation, with our chins in the air, and we judge those in the third world countries. Looking back at the latest "news", I've realized we are no different than anyone else. Maybe I'm late on this, but it is a reality check. Our mindsets are no different, we think in violent ways and we act in violent ways. The difference is that some people out there have no choice but to defend themselves, while we as Americans living in a much "safer" community (compared to others) have a choice for such actions. The point is, that we as humans shouldn't act in such vicious ways nor should we take our voices/rights for granted and use them as hurtful tools.
